I'm Sandra Laura Manuela Deakin
I help women from all walks of life step into their magnificence, personal power & greatest expression of who they are.
So, they get to feel free, fully self – expressed on all levels of their lives and can touch millions of other human beings with their presence & presentation.
As a multi- award-winning female leadership & presentation coach, I have supported hundreds of women worldwide to show up in life & present themselves from a space of inner confidence
(whether it is on a stage, in front of the camera or simply in a boardroom filled with a majority of men)
Media, television & Radio have always been my biggest passions.
I have more than 35 years of experience in the media as a journalist, speaker, producer and TV & radio host.
My biggest purpose has always been to inspire, uplift and empower my audience.
Even as a child I was called little miss Brightspot because my presence was brightening people’s lives.
I genuinely care about other human beings, animals & nature
and want them to thrive.
One of my passions has always been turning my own blindspots into brightspots.
Because I believe every obstacle we face in life can become the biggest opportunity for our inner growth,
mastery and expressing our purest potential.
From my childhood I wanted to express myself and my radiance to a bigger audience.
I was bullied and laughed at for having such great ambitions for the future.
But this only drove me more to tap into my inner power, resilience & courage.
`So I pushed onwards. At the age of 14 I wrote to several TV & Radio stations.
That same year I was starring in some popular children’s series on the national television and had my very first successful radio show at a local radio station.
Then at the age of 18 I was given my first national prime-time radio show in Belgium on Radio 2.
Making my own dreams come true at such a young age empowered me even more to support & guide women worldwide to express their full potential in the world.
Although my career was thriving, in my personal life & behind the scenes I faced several challenges.
I battled constant self-doubt.
The simplest obstacles would often overwhelm me and any criticism of the outside world would pull me out of my power & magnetism.
Behind the image of ‘a female media trailblazer’ was an insecure, frightened little girl and a wounded woman.
Until life gave me a wake-up call.
All these insecurities had manifested themselves in my body. Thanks to the many great souls such as Deepak Chopra, Brandon Bays & Michael Beckwith I had interviewed
(listen to my podcast Brightspotsradio) , I learned to look at the body from a whole new perspective.
Through connecting on a deeper level with my body I started discovering it’s hidden treasures & pleasures. I learned that the body of a woman body is a significant navigator towards her success, alignment and power.
I learned that discomfort and pain are beautiful portals to open more of our potential, power & beauty.
Once we learn to listen on a deeper level, our soul speaks through our body and we can liberate ourselves from past thought-patterns and behaviours that no longer serve us.
In this moment, the body can tune into its enormous capacity for self-healing.
Through learning this, I was able to start liberating my body from past trauma and transform my
pain into pearls. Not only did my physical body heal & revitalise, but my unique self-expression,
presence and leadership got ignited to a whole next level.

I am also very adventurous and love to be in the desert and live amongst the Bedouins

At the age of 14 I decided to spend my whole vacation in France to work with archaeologists

I believe nothing is impossible (I have a very powerful mindset)

I am a constant truth seeker and honesty is one of my highest values (in fact it’s a non-negotiable)

The constant search for beauty in everything is my deepest fuel and passion in life

I believe I am the bridge for people between their dreams & how to materialise them.
